Welcome... My name is Maureen "Mo" Longo and I am currently studying Music Therapy at the University of Dayton. Here at UD, I have been involved in many musical ensembles including the Pride of Dayton Marching Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, Flyer Pep Band, University Jazz Band, Dayton Jazz Ensemble, University Orchestra, Percussion Ensemble, Winter Drumline, and Campus Crusade Worship Team.
As a music major, my instrument of focus is percussion, which I have been studying with Professor James Leslie since August of 2003. I was accepted into the University of Dayton Department of Music with an audition on the clarinet, but later decided that I would rather continue with percussion, and I re-auditioned into the UD school of music in December of 2003. Since then, percussion has been my passion. I'm considering continuing my education through a graduate study of percussion performance, but we'll see where life takes me before then.
On my website, you'll find my musical biography, the repertoire I've performed as well as the instruments I have studied, some insight about my membership in the Glassmen Drum & Bugle Corps, a copy of my resume, a calendar of my performances, a few photos, some other websites you might want to visit, and a link to email me with any questions or comments you might have about me or my website. Feel free to look around. Thanks for visiting!
