The Small Holders Party![]()
The Small Holders' Party (SHP) of the
Mission Statement
The Small Holders Party
exists to enable the expansion and growth of the smaller market companies
existing within Ruritanian society. The essential
belief of the Small Holders Party is that the private sector is best left
alone. The government exists to protect rights, and should intervene only when
it is necessary for government to break trusts and other monolithic businesses.
The Small Holders Party
adamantly supports a wealth surcharge, as well as a flat tax and a corporate
tax. The party feels it would delegate the maximum of 20,000 RNU’s to the Small Holder/Farmer Policy. The SHP will
devote no money to the environment, as it would rather take that money and
delegate a total 40,000 RNU’s to the Law and Order
Policy. The party believes this action will create more jobs, as well as
protect the existing jobs by reducing crime. As the police will protect rights,
so the party wishes to ensure the protection of rights. For this reason, the
party has promised 25,000 RNU’s to the issue of
rights of the individual. The SHP will devote itself to the full exploitation
of energy, promising that issue 20,000 RNU’s; as well
as 17,000 RNU’s to health care, a private issue with
public interests. The party, feeling that these next two interests are more of
a private nature, but necessary, has decided to devote 14,000 RNU’s to housing and 10,000 RNU’s
to cultural enrichment. However, the party feels it necessary to devote 15,000 RNU’s to education, so that all may have the equal
opportunity for success. Being of a special concern to all small holders, the
party has decided that it will encourage high tariffs. This will hinder
imports, giving small business the edge.
As such, the Small Holders
Party believes that will adequately enable the smaller entrepreneurial business
to have an ability to compete and thrive within Ruritanian socie
