This website is dedicated to Oakwood HS Physics team project. Read the Dayton Daily News article about us on the link below Physics Team article in Dayton Daily News on March 26, 2009 In April, 2009 our students participated in 2009 Physics Bowl Contest (see picture below, me as a team coach second on the left). Next School year we will start a Science Olympiad team at Oakwood High School. I am working as a volunteer team coach. My goal is to build a Science Olympiad team that will be managed by students, not by teachers. Students will be involved in all aspects of preparation for National competition. Our sponsors are IDCAST, OSA/SPIE Student Chapter at the University of Dayton, Lockheed Martin Corporation. We will need more sponsors and volunteers.
