The Stock Market Challenge
Welcome to the Stock Market Challenge! Throughout this learning unit you will work collaboratively with a team to explore the stock market and current market trends. Each team member will research types of investments, investment strategies, and market trends in the economy in order to make well-informed decisions in creating a stock portfolio. Each team will receive $100,000 of virtual money to invest in the stock market, and the team that makes the most profit wins!Each team member will research the different types of investments, investment strategies, and market trends in the economy in order to make well-informed decisions in creating a stock portfolio. To do this you and your team will follow a 5 step process to help guide you through your decision making process and investing. Each team member will have a different role on the team through each step of the challenge.
The Stock Market Challenge will take place throughout the entire 9 weeks. You will follow a timeline that tells you exactly what you are to do each week as a team. The resources given to you on this site, will help you in your research of the stock market.
