Alison Brady is a first-year Music Therapy Major at the University of Dayton. She is from Louisville, Kentucky and resides there when school is not in session.
Alison has been playing the Alto Saxophone since 2001. She began playing the Soprano Saxophone in 2006 when her high school band director put a Saxophone quartet together. At the moment, Alison is studying under Bobby Streng, but will begin studying with Dr. Willie Morris III in 2009. Before coming to UD she studied under Dr. Lee Patrick.
In her first semester at the UD, Alison has become very involved within the music department. She is involved with the following ensembles: University Jazz Band, University Saxophone Quartet, Pride of Dayton Marching Band, Symphonic Wind Ensemble, UD Saxophone Studio, Flyer Pep Band. She hopes to continue with all these ensembles in the future.
