Policies:

Ø      All business documents are due at the beginning of class on the announced due dates. If you are not in class, your document will not be accepted.  Late documents will be penalized one half grade for each day late.  After three days, no document  will be accepted. Consult the syllabus to familiarize yourself with due dates. You must complete all documents to receive a final grade. PLAN AHEAD.

Ø      All documents are to be typed. (one inch margins, Arial font, and 12 point font)  Documents will  be accepted only if they comply with these standards.

Ø      On each Monday, two students will be required to submit  articles about a topic related to business. In addition to the article, you must submit a response to the article.  The typed response  must not exceed 100 words. 

Ø      Most quizzes will be announced.

Ø      Plagiarized work will  receive a failing grade.

Ø      Grades

      Documents: 25-150 points    

      Quizzes: 10 points

Tests: 50 points

Response to article:  20 points

Participation: 25 points  Beginning with the fifth absence, five points will be deducted from the 25 participation points.  No absences will result in 2.5 points being added to a student’s final average.
