***A Pentium-based computer should be adequate for working with the materials for this course.
Other Guidelines:
1. Students will read the assigned chapters and then submit by email attachment all written assignments by or on the date indicated on the assignment page. Late papers will lose 10 points for every day they are late. These specific dates will be available on line in the next few weeks.
2. Since business communicators do not get "a second chance to make a first impression," students will not have an opportunity to rewrite assignments. Therefore, they should be certain the submit their best work on the assigned day.
3. Since assignments build on upon another and should reflect the material in the assigned chapters in the text, errors will become increasingly significant with each assignment and will cost in point deduction if they continue to occur.
4. The Instructor will be available on email to answer questions and discuss any difficulties students may be having with text book material or writing assignments.
5. The Instructor will respond to and grade assignments well in advance of the next paper assignment.
6. Students must be in good academic standing and be prepared to work independently with the assigned textbook and course materials.
7. SENIORSwho plan to graduate in August 2002 should register in the special section designated with "ZS" in the course code.
8. No "Incomplete" grades will be granted for Summer Study at home courses.
9. July 23, 2002 is the last date to withdraw with a record of "W" for full third term courses.
