Almost every culture, no matter how
disconnected it is from the rest of the world, has some sort of legend about
vampires. While a few are similar to the traditional European myths that have
been incorporated into Hollywood vampire lore quite a few are different.
While many of the central
ideas of the vampire such as being undead, feeding on the living, and
having specific vulnerabilities remain.
