Assignment
Each group should focus discussion on the questions below. I highly recommend that each group use the books in the series Restoring Women to History---and particularly the bibliographies in each---which are on reserve: Women in Latin America and the Caribbean, by Maryse Navarro and Virginia Sanchez Korrol; Women in Sub-Saharan Africa, by Iris Berger and E. Frances White; Women in the Middle East and North Africa, by Guity Nashat and Judith Tucker; and Women in Asia, by Barbara N. Ramusck and Sharon Sievers.
Please note that two of these are my personal copies so please do not write in them and respect their physical integrity!
Also rely on your own research -- I suggest using books and articles and not internet sources -- and the assigned readings for class.
