Materials Used Throughout the Investigation:
paint, construction paper, scissors, youtube videos, computers, glue, paint brushes, informational picture books about frogs, tape measures, tapioca beads, water and sponge, live tree frog and aquarium, crickets to feed the frog, spray bottle, recording of frog sounds, frog figures, authentic pictures of eggs, tadpoles in their habitats and frogs, charts, markers
For potential places to take my classroom to help them further their learning about frogs, we could take a class field trip to the Brukner Nature Center. This center provides 165 acres of a nature preserve where the students can discover Ohio wildlife and habitats of frogs. This center is willing to cater the fieldtrip to specific curriculum so it would be a great place to utilize for further investigation about frogs.
This center also provides classroom visits where they bring animals from the outside in. This would give a great opportunity for the students to learn from specialists about frogs, their habitat, and other animals that live around them. This enables me to find a way to bring the in outside field work.
