PSPICE Instructions

Go to:

Start

All Programs

Cadence PSD 15.1

Capture CIS

From the File menu select:

New

Project

This will pop up the New Project dialog box.

In this box you will:

· Name your project

· Click the top bullet in the list on the left (Analog or Mixed A/D)

· Click browse in the bottom right corner to select a location to save your project

Then Click OK

After creating your schematic, you will have to create a new simulation profile.

Click on the PSPICE tab in the toolbar at the top of the screen, and select:

· New Simulation Profile

Name your simulation profile and click Create.

This will take you to the Simulation Settings Menu.

Select the type of simulation/s that you wish to run and set your run time.

You can also set up the probe window settings by clicking on the Probe Window tab.

When you are finished with the simulation settings, click ok.

This will run the simulation of your schematic.

If you want to change the simulation settings or run time go back to the PSPICE menu on the toolbar and select Edit Simulation Profile.
