For this unit, you will be assigned a person from history or one that is currently living that has impacted our society is some way. You will research your person by using the links to your left in the "Student Links" column, and you will also complete research at our local library. After your research is complete, you will write a research paper about your person. We will end our project, with our class wax museum where you will dress up like your person, and tell our visitors about yourself. |

What Is a Wax Museum? A wax museum is a museum where you can go to learn about famous people. However, all of the people are made of wax and look just like the person you are learning about. In some wax museums, the person you are learning about actually talks, or the museum will have a display with information about that person. One famous wax museum is Madame Tussaud's.
