Dr. Inscho received his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Detroit in 1968. Following a brief stint in the Army he did his graduate work at the State University of New York at Buffalo (SUNYAB). He earned his M.A. from that institution in 1972, and the Ph.D. in 1976.

Dr. Inscho regularly teaches graduate courses in public fiscal administration, quantitative methods, and public policy. His undergraduate teaching is in the areas of American government, research methods, statistics, and environmental policy. Dr. Inscho has a special interest in integrating computer technology into the classroom, and in introducing undergraduate social science students to modern computer applications.

Dr. Inscho has a long standing research interest in environmental and natural resources issues. His most recent research has focused on the environmental management of the Great Lakes.
