Advising Information for Students

Applying to the program:
To apply to the program, visit the Graduate admissions website at http://gradadmissions.udayton.edu When you are admitted to the program, you will receive a letter from me. Contact me at judith.oberlander@notes.udayton.edu so that we can fill out your advising sheet and plan your program.

Advising Sheet:
Within a month of receiving your acceptance into the Technology-enhanced Learning program, please make an appointment to see me so we can plan your course work.   We can map out your program each semester so you are not taking courses unnecessarily or planning to take courses with prerequisites in the wrong sequence, thereby delaying your graduation. [I can be contacted by phone at (937) 229-3492 or by email: Judith.Oberlander@notes.udayton.edu ].   Advising sheet (PDF)

Course offerings by semester: Technology Enhanced Learning Matrix

Registration for classes:
Register as soon as possible once registration begins since many of the classes fill up quickly --sometimes, within a day or two of opening for registration.

Graduation:
At any time, but especially a semester or two before you intend to graduate, contact me to complete a preliminary audit of your courses to see if everything is in order. When registering for the final semester, fill out the graduation form in addition to the registration form. During this term, Mrs. Janice Keivel in the Dean's Office will conduct the final audit of your courses using the advising sheet that you and I filled out.

Technology Endorsement:
If you have your degree and would like to apply for the technology endorsement, contact Dr. Mary Lou Andrews in the licensure office [Phone number: (937) 229-3102 or email:  Mary.Andrews].

If you are currently enrolled in the Technology-enhanced Learning program, you may apply for the endorsement  after completing the courses required: EDT 629. 630, 631, 632,  633, and 634. All these courses must be completed within three years from the time the courses are first begun.
