    gem Meetings

    We meet on the second Tuesday of the month (except September and December) at 7:30 PM.

    NEWS

    Lime City quarry Field trip this Saturday, June 21, 2008, is cancelled.

    Our treasurer, Bill Brailey died unexpectedly at home on June 15. He was 67 years old. A memorial service will be held June 28, 2008, at 2 PM, at the Hillside Chapel, 3515 Shakertown Road, Beavercreek. Our deepest sympathies are with Roz Brailey at this time.
    The treasurerŐs duties will be divided up between the other officers for the rest of this year, until elections at the November meeting.

    gem Our Interests

    All of our members are enthusiasts of the natural world. Some collect minerals or fossils, or both. Some polish, facet, and mount their own gems. One teaches this skill. One member is associated with a local university. One member is a recognized specialist in micro-mounting.
