During our ten week placement in a preschool classroom, we conducted an in-depth investigation of magnetism. This investigation included exploring different magnetic materials, magnetic fields, magnetic poles, and how to make a magnet. In addition, we focused on the scientific inquiry standards and encouraged students to make predictions, ask questions, record observations, and help to design experiments for each lesson.
