Survey

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey!

It should only take about 10 minutes to complete.

Your participation will help me complete a study of the relationship between physical activity and academic achievement (measured in this case by GPA), a project for my HSS 226 class.

While there is plenty of literature on this topic, it mainly focuses on students in middle school.  Most studies on the subject conclude that while it is not a significant relationship, there is most likely a connection between physical activity and academic achievement.  Physical activity lowers stress and anxiety, and increases self-esteem.  Students who are overweight, inactive, and have poor eating habits tend to miss school more often than their peers because they are more likely to become ill or have psychological problems.

The results will be posted on this website in early December.

Thank you very much for your time to COMPLETE THE SURVEY and check back in December for the results!
