Phl. 340 / Hms 410 Freedom and Determinism Class #24.  Th., April 6, 2000.

Lecturer:  Barnes
Class consisted mainly of a read-through of James Fowler's own summaries of the five stages of "faith" development, with questions and discussion.  At the end there was a very brief review of stages of historical development
The next two classes will be student presentations.  The Tuesday, April 18. just prior to Easter break, will reprise the stages of historical development, as a way of finishing the whole review of developmental theories, and will then center on a single sheet summarizing the major aspects of inner freedom, forces that may effect the use of that freedom, and what it means to be in the habit of exercising consciously reflective freedom.  That in turn will be a preview of what is expected for the final exam.  The last class meeting of the semester, immediately after Easter on April 25, will discuss the final exam assignment again.
