Friday, May 18th- We arrived in Munich at 7AM. We then
drove to Augsburg to meet our host families. Ironically,
we spent the evening in an Irish Bar called Murphy's Law
Sunday, May 20th- Spend the day in Munich. We took a bike tour
(5 hours+). We saw a lot of amazing things. Topped
off with a trip to the Hofbräuhaus München
(100x better than Newport)
Monday, May 21st- Start classes at the University of
Augsburg. I have to catch the train to get to the other side of
the town.
Wednesday, May 23rd- Watched the Premiere League
Championships- The SuperBowl for European Soccer/Fussball. At a
bar/biergarten, not at the stadium. Sorry for the confusion.
Friday, May 25th- Spent the weekend in Prague, Czech Republic.
It is a very old city with a lot of neat architecture. The
castle was awesome! Check out those pics.
Wednesday, May 30th- Host family dinner. All the
students and their host(s) meet for dinner at a nice Augsburg
restaurant.
Friday, JUNE 1st and Saturday 2nd- Traveled around Southern
Germany. I went to Schloss
Neuschwanstein ("The Disney Caslte") and Rothenburg ob der
Tauber.
Monday, June 4th- First exam. BOOOO- Why do they have to go
ruin this trip by making us learn. It went ok, i guess.
Friday, June 8th- Venice=Awesome
Tuesday, June 12th- Lunch at City Hall, but the mayor can no
longer attend. We had a great lunch at the Ratskeller.
But then we had to go back to class.
Friday, June 15th- I got to spend the weekend with Tobi and
his parents. Since I was with Tobi, it was like having a
tour guide with me the entire time. It was great having
him there to explain some of the things I didn't know.
Saturday, June 23rd- Arrive back in the 'Nati around 7PM EDT |
