dear friend of mine has inspired me to take on a philosophy of ending dissonance
in the world. In music, dissonance can be described as a
combination of tones
suggesting tension and a need for resolution. This concept of dissonance applies
to every day situations, and as a music educator, I will seek to implement
feelings of
resolution and peacefulness into every student through the joys of
music... I hope to share my
philosophy of ending dissonance and bring a feeling
of unity to the community. Through music education, many life skills are
attained, and youth learn to live in harmony and equality."

MISSION STATEMENT: It is my belief that music has an important and vital role in the enrichment of the human spirit. As a music educator, it will be my mission to value each person as a gifted individual with unique intellectual, expressive, spiritual, musical, and emotional needs and abilities. I believe that music has a unique way of both touching and expressing the human spirit. It is my goal to help and teach people through music and all the beauty it has to offer.
