As you can probably tell, the title of this page (Factus ad Imaginem Caritas) is Latin.
What does it mean? It translates into English as Made in the Image of Love. The idea of God as Love is central to Christianity. It is just as much a reality as the Resurrection. In fact, the Resurrection reflects God's nature as love. In Genesis, God declares us to be made in His image and likeness, thus it logically follows that we are made in the image and likeness of Love. As human beings, we are defined by our ability to love like our Creator in a way that no other creature can match. The ideal human being is one who loves in all that they are and all that they do. This is something which we all must strive for both in word, but especially, in deed.
So, my site is dedicated to this idea. I strongly hold to the idea that we all have unlimited potential as human beings, but it is up to each person to realize this. It is my hope that having visited this site you might come away with a touch of love and the realization that you are not only called, but are able to be the best 'you' you can possibly be. This is something which is important for everyone to realize. Having struggled with depression and feelings of inadequacy in the past, I can personally testify that the knowledge of one's unlimited potential is something which is both empowering and life-changing.
