Kyle Schuckmann

                        Kyle Schuckmann, a freshman music education major at the University of Dayton, has been playing trombone for nine years.  Within that time, he has received many awards and achieved many honors.  Throughout his career he has been in numerous honor bands including: his district's honor band in Junior High and High school, the Wright State University Tri State Honor Band for two consecutive years, The Ohio All-State Honor Band in 2006, and he was selected to travel to Europe with the Ohio Ambassadors of Music in 2003.

                        Some of the numerous ensembles Kyle has played in include: the Middletown Youth Symphony, out of Middletown, Ohio, the Cincinnati Youth Jazz Ensemble, the Cincinnati Youth Wind Ensemble, as well as Southwind Drum & Bugle Corps.  The ensembles Kyle is currently involved in include the Dayton Jazz Ensemble, the University of Dayton Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the University of Dayton Trombone Quartet, and Low Brass Choir.  Also, over the weekend of November 24, 25, & 26, Kyle attended The Cavaliers Drum & Bugle Corps. audition camp in Rosemont, Illinois, and has been invited back to the January camp to audition for a spot.
