Hi, my name is Ross William Siekman. I was born on October 1, 1987 in
Cincinnati, Ohio. My parents (Tom and Amy Siekman) raised me on having
good morals and values. My relationship with my parents was based on
trust and honesty. My parents both have good paying jobs, but every day
they get up and work hard for that money. They want me to understand
that if you want a good job, you have to work hard everyday for it. I
love my parents very much, and they played a great role in my life. I
have a older sister (Julie Siekman) that also attended the University of
Dayton. Julie and I have a very close relationship and that relationship
will build as the years go on.
My whole life I have been playing sports. My long list
of varsity letters includes golf, lacrosse, basketball and football. I
was a captain of the varsity basketball team and was named to the second
team all conference. Being a captain gave me good leadership skills and
verbal skills. My sophomore year I place second in our conference for
golf. Golf taught me patience, and helped me be able to stay focused
while under pressure. I graduated from Loveland High School with a 3.545
GPA and received a metal for having high honors three out of the four
years I was there. I made great friends in High School and they helped
shape me into the young man that I am today. |
