Systems Development


I have been responsible for developing systems and teaching about systems development from the broad executive level to the detailed programming level.  
  • Executive level responsibilities:  Provided coordination, documentation, and evaluation for a project with the Greater Dayton Area Hospital Association to build a network for sharing patient information across seven hospitals.  Served as Associate Dean responsible for information technology in the School of Business Administration at the University of Dayton.
  • Project management level responsibilities:  Directed an information systems development project for the New Futures Initiative funded by the Casey Foundation. Managed a development team that augmented the information system of the Dayton Public Schools to report various indicators of success for at-risk students 
  • Systems analysis and programming level responsibilities:  Worked as systems analyst and computer programmer.
