Q & A

This course is designed to deliver the material for Medical Ethics in a new way, which will allow the student to examine the material in a concentrated way for 2/3 of the course and in an independent way for 1/3 of the course. This should maximize student time in the summer and provide a measure of flexibility in working with the material.

Approaching the Readings: It may be difficult to do all the readings for each class but  students are encouraged to make that effort. If the reading cannot be done, for each class, every effort should be done to do as much reading as possible for the classes. The structure of this course is reliant in a major way on discussions. The success of the discussions is heavily dependent on the preparation for the class by the students.

Background Reading: It will be helpful to read this material prior to beginning the course. This material will be discussed in the first class.
