My name is Monique Whitehead. I am seventeen years old. I am
currently a student at the University of Dayton. I am an Economics
major but I am attempting to enter into the college of Business.
My family moved to the United States about 12 years ago
from Canada. When not in school, I live with my parents, my
brother, my sister, and my dog. I am the youngest of three, my
brother, Jamie, is 22 and my sister, Ainsley, is 19.
I graduated from Granville High School in the class of
2006. While in high school I was on the swim team, I was involved
in a few plays, and I was involved in the powder puff games. I
lettered on the swim team two of my three years and was co-captain my
senior year. When I was not swimming I was often working backstage
for some of the plays. By the end of my senior year I had been on
the set crew, rigging crew, light crew, sound crew, and running crew.
I was also involved in the powder puff, girls flag football, games my
junior and senior year.
I am currently employed at the University of Dayton in
the Rec Plex as a swim instructor. I have been teaching swim
lessons for three years. I also work at my local YMCA as a
lifeguard and swim instructor. I have teach all levels of swimming
but prefer teaching the older children and adults. |
